While this is common, and likely won’t destroy your engine if the RPMs and load are relatively low, your engine life is still decreased. That’s even if you’re using a good oil pan baffle setup.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eOur dual pickup kit, as used in most wet-sump E36 racing applications, has one pickup at the front and another one in the rear to reduce the possibility of sucking air into the engine.
