Total oil capacity is now 7.25 liters. This is done with zero changes to the oil pan other than longer studs for the spacer. Buying a Genuine part will usually be more expensive than an OEM or aftermarket brand but you are assured that it meets BMW's designs for fitment, performance, and longevity.
