These gussets are welded on the opposite side of the bushing to thicken and strengthen the bushing mount. The likelihood of a failure increases with larger sway bars, race suspensions, and sticky tires that increases the stress forces on mounting points.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eExhaust Clearance Note: some exhausts have a tighter clearance to the subframe and sway bar bushing tab than others (tighter clearance = more ground clearance and better airflow).
