In addition to the fire-blocking purpose, the panel also helps to seal out fumes and other gases that can make their way from the engine bay to the cabin.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThis panel is riveted to the firewall for a secure and semi-permanent installation. Rivets are included. Silicone sealant should also be used between firewall and panel to improve the seal.
