In BMW's effort to cut out as much weight as possible from the famous \"Coupé Sport Leichtbau\" model, one of the many changes found on the E46 M3 CSL was its completely bespoke carbon center console.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe M3 CSL received a special \"minimalist\" console constructed from carbon fiber that did away with the heavy thick plastic, fold-down armrest mechanism and cushion, ashtray, cupholders and other miscellaneous bits. Additionally, the CSL console housed a provision for the relocated side-mirror adjustment switch, as the door panels in the M3 CSL also received the \"lightweight\" treatment which eliminated their armrests and mirror switch receptacle.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWorking with Karbonius Composites in Spain, we've prepared this center console trim finishing kit to replace the BMW hazard button and mirror switch frames. With their composite 3D printing capability, we're able to offer the complete kit at the same price as a single hazard switch frame from BMW, while the OE mirror switch frame has unfortunately been discontinued by BMW. We also include genuine BMW blind plugs so enthusiasts are able to faithfully complete their M3 CSL conversions down to the smallest details.
