The piston dust boots often tear, allowing the elements like dirt, salt, and road debris to cause the piston to get damaged, stick, and potentially seize the caliper. Damage to the aluminum pistons is usually inevitable. This kit is a perfect alternative to using the same failure-prone components, and gives you brand new aluminum pistons with fresh surfaces.
