We can explain lift by simplifying some facts: at high velocity, air pressure decreases. If air slows down under the car, results are higher pressure areas literally pushing the car from the bottom. Vehicles moving at high speed are affected by the lift effect. Fast moving air channeled under the car, rushes up on the tail towards the low speed high pressure air coming from the rooftop. ARMASPEED Tesla Model 3’s diffuser enhances the expansion area and addresses this air slowing it down to meet nicely with its counterpart.
