We engineered a new set of adjustable upper control arms that keep stock-like geometry at the spindle and wheel camber. They also keep the factory ride-height sensor in its stock position, so the gap between each ride mode stays the same. That means more room before you high-center on the most important and most expensive part of the vehicle, and that's before counting the extra height a larger tire adds. The kit also includes dedicated skid plates that replace the factory plates over the drive-motor subframes, and they're designed to fit the factory front and rear bumpers and aprons. Just like our other Rivian skid plates, the main plates are 1\/4-inch 5052-H32 aluminum, with an 11-gauge (0.120\") cold-rolled steel plate over the differential\/motor for maximum impact resistance where it matters most. Everything is finished in a textured black powder coat.
