High pressure fuel pumps, or more simply HPFP's, are a common trouble item on N54 powered BMW's. A failed HPFP can cause your car to go into limp mode or in extreme cases will leave you stranded on the side of the road. BMW has redesigned and re-engineered this part multiple times do to reliability concerns. This is the most up to date version of this fuel pump.

Note: This fuel pump is associated with service bulletin SIB 13 13 10 and is specifically intended to address known internal components failures commonly associated with high pressure fuel pumps in this application. This fuel pump is the equivalent to 13517616170 in terms of fitment but has shown to be the most cost effective and best long term performing pump available.
