This kit is designed for the infamous P0016 Cam/Crank Correlation Code.

If you are experiencing slow crank or no start we recommend you to scan the vehicle for faults first. If fault P0016 Cam/Crank Correlation fault shows its more then likely its time to replace your timing chain. We recommend you to check base timing, perform cylinder compression, and performed cylinder leak down. If you find low compression or cylinder leak we recommend you to use a bore-scope to check intake & exhaust valves for damage. If the valves are bent you will need to replace them as well.

Engine Timing Chain Kit

An engine timing chain is a crucial component in an internal combustion engine that synchronizes the rotation of the crankshaft and camshafts. It ensures that the engine's valves open and close at the proper times during each cylinder's intake and exhaust strokes, maintaining optimal engine performance.
