I saw in the pdf file for the gauge pod that the console had an automatic shifter . Will this pod also work with a manual shift console . 1969 camaro

I'm installing 4 Auto Meter gauges in my pod. Fuel Press 2660, Oil Press 2604, Water Temp 2607, and Volt Meter 2645. The mounting strap that mounts to the back of the gauge with 2 thumb nuts doesn't work with pod. Do you make optional mounts for it?

The 10002, like many of our plastic mounting solutions, is designed as a “pressure fit.” You shouldn’t require brackets and the gauges should be held reasonably tight without the need for the brackets.

How tall is this gauge pod? I am looking to use this pod in a non-Camaro application. The length and width are OK for my situation, so I just need to check the height.. Thanks!

Thank you for your question. Keep in mind this is specifically designed to fit the console of a 68-69 Camaro and 68-74 Nova. The length is 8.5 inches and it's slightly tapered so the width up front is 6 inches and 5.5 inches in the back. The height you are looking for is also dependent on the gauge you are using. I am installing a 68 Nova console in a 62 Buick Special and clearance is tight with the Vintage Air unit main box vent outlets to the front portion of the console. What is the distance from the panel mounting surface to the top of the top of gauge bulge?

Hello, I have a 1968 Camaro with no center console yet. Looking to get this gauge console. 1) What center console does that fit into? without any modifications. 2) Do I need any install kit, like I had to get for my Ultra Lite Dash Gauges?

Hi Gregory, thank you for reaching out. We normally include four 6-32 x 3/8" panhead phillips screws with the 10002 Camaro Console.

Hi Husain, thank you so much for contacting us. This mount angles the gauge up towards the driver and is designed for a left hand drive vehicle. It would not work in a right hand drive configuration as it quite literally would be pointing the gauges away from the driver. Sorry for the bad news.
