Does this fit on top of the original stock A pillar trim? or do you need to remove the original trim and replace it with this part. If this is the case, does this gauge pod come with the original 2 snap pins and also the airbag hold tab?

This will fit a Lund Ngauge as one of our workers here has a 2015 mustang we tested this on. The pillar is the same for all S550 chassis Mustangs so this will fit your 2018. Please keep in mind that for the Ngauge you will need to do some trimming in order for the gauge to sit properly.

Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, this will not work on a convertible. There are some structural differences between the coupe and the convertible and this was specifically designed for the coupe.
