This pillar mount does NOT fit the 8404 boost gauge. The gauge requires a brass fitting on the back which makes the total gauge length longer than a pod depth.

Will the 8404 boost gauge fit in This pod? The air inlet on the 8404 hits the inside of the glow shift version of this gauge.

Will this pillar pod work with the edge cts2 universal pillar mount ?

Thank you for your question. This will work as long at the mount uses a 2-1/16" hole size for mounting into the pod.

Do you need to remove the grab handle to install this item?

Hi Steve. Thank you for reaching out. It's difficult to see at the angle pictured, but there is an actual cutout at the top of this pod to accommodate the handle. The handle does not have to be removed.
