What is the actual dimensions of this gauge #1789 and gauge #1710?

Hi,
Both products fit into a 4-5/8" hole, both are 4-15/16" across the bezel. The depth of the 1789 is 2-3/4", the depth of the 1710 is 3-3/4"

Is there a compatible sensor for a 78 Jeep CJ5 with manuel trans for this speedometer?

Thank you for your question. You can use our 5291 or 5292 sensor. The none you choose will be based on what type of transmission you have.

Thank you for your question. Our electric speedometer calibrate to match the pulses from your sensor, you do not need to get a speed sensor to match the speedometer.
