We unfortunately don't have a mounting bracket for your Shadow. This is something you would need to fabricate.

We have no data on Yamaha Raider installations. I would suggest connection to one coil negative with the tach set to one pulse.

Will this work on a Yamaha V Star 250?

If you're able to confirm your bike has a more traditional tachometer signal generated from the ignition or computer, this tachometer should work. If it's CAN bus only, this tachometer is not compatible.

If I wanted to use this tach on a 2016 FLHR Harley, which, yes, has the CAN-Bus system, and the tach signal connects to the coil negative side, it seems the signal is just a dumb analog voltage output and has nothing to do with the CAN system.. Thoughts?

Unfortunately none of our gauges will work with a CAN system for the newer bikes.

How well will this tach work with a late model (2016) Harley big twin? Would it be set for 1 or 2 pulses per rev and use one or both coil connections?

Hi Karlos,
Your 2016 H-D uses a CAN electrical system. Because of this, our tachometer is not compatible with your bike.
Thanks,
Jim

Hi! Does it work on a Fat Boy 11?

I assume you mean 2011.
Check to see if you have a loose Tacho wire under the Dash. It most likely be a pink wire if you do then it should work just fine, mine works great.
