How do you reset the tripometer?

This electric speedometer utilizes a LCD to display odometer and
trip odometer mileage. Momentarily pressing of the Trip/Reset button
on the dial window toggles the odometer/trip odometer information
displayed on the LCD. Pressing the button, while in trip mode, for more
than two seconds will reset the trip odometer.

Hello bill47. As long as you have an electronic speed sensor that triggers your original speedometer, yes, this will work.

Will this Speedometer and the 19698 Tachometer fit in the gas tank dash of my 1996 Dyna Lowrider? Also is the trip reset on the front of the gauge?

We will not know if the gauge will fit that specific vehicle. Please measure the hole size of the mount being used and our dimensions diagram linked below.

Thank you for your question. The gauge is water resistant. As for the vibration we do recommend using a rubber gasket in between the gauge and the pod to help with any extreme vibrations.
