AutoMeter GPS speedometers are capable of working with most aftermarket GPS antenna/receivers or with AutoMeter's 5283 GPS antenna. AutoMeter's ultra fast, omnidirectional micro antenna is available separately for true plug and play functionality and never requires calibration. Configurable Rally Nav display shows odometer, trip odometer, time/date, GPS coordinates, heading info, compass, and peak speed recall. Quite simply, the easiest, most accurate speedometer available.

This antenna should be mounted on a horizontal surface with a clear view of the sky for best satellite reception.

What else is needed to put this GPS speedometer on my boat? I have a 35' Fountain with twin step hull. It currently has a speedometer in it that is difficult to keep working since anytime I run over any trash the line gets stopped up.

Thank you for your question. You will also need a GPS antenna for your 200637 speedometer. You can use our antenna #5283 or you can use a different aftermarket antenna with our wire harness #5214.
