Does it need to be painted to protect it from UV ray, or I can install it without any type of protection?

They are UV protected but they can be painted.

I ordered and received guage kit 2139-14 for 70-74 E-body. How do you reccommend mounting the radio and the heater controls since there are no openings for them?

Do these dash kits come with a high beam and signal light indicators and how would you mount them with no finish holes?

Hello, thank you for your question. You would have to adapt them to the panel. You will also need to purchase the LED indicators with part #3283.

I have a Challenger with a rear defroster. So my dash has four holes. Is there an option for this? Thanks

Hi Daniel, thank you so much for contacting us. Unfortunately this panel is currently only available in this configuration. It would need to be modified to accommodate the read defroster switch. Sorry for the bad news.

Is the depth of this panel the “Rallye cluster” depth or non-tach, “standard dash” depth. Big difference between the two.

Thank you so much for contacting us. I spoke with our supplier on this panel and they were unaware of any fitment issues on either version of the factory dash. This is one of the most popular dash panels that we offer and we have received no negative feedback on them in the number of years they've been available. I would not anticipate any issues with it fitting either application. With that said, should there be an unexpected issue with your vehicle, we absolutely stand behind the product and would be happy to take the panel back and refund your money. Hope this helps!
