Product 2283 DESCRIPTION:
For use with all Mechanical, Full Sweep and Short Sweep Electric gauges. For mounting Water Temperature gauge senders or probes in 1 1/2-1/16" Radiator hose. This kit is ideal for vehicles with limited access to water passage ports on the engine. Temperature port threaded for 3/8" NPT. Includes 3/8" NPT adapter for mechanical AutoMeter temperature gauges.

Unfortunately this will only work with 1.5 hose and we do not carry an adapter to work with a 1.75 hose.

The threads on the aluminum radiator hose adapter are 3/8" NPT. The female thread on the brass adapter is 5/8-18 UNF. The brass adapter is designed to mate to the integral sealing nut on our mechanical gauges.

I have one of your mechanical water temp gauge. It has the capillary tube. Will that screw into the fitting that is supplied with this kit. Or will I have to use a different fitting.

Thank you for your question. This will work with our mechanical temp gauges. You will not need to purchase another adapter for the probe to fit.
