unfortunately, that Tach is for most 4, 6, and 8 cylinder engines (2 - 4 pulse per revolution ignition signals) You might look at our PRO-CYCLE series of gauges

This products has four leads, one tach power, one light power, one ground, and one that connects to coil negative.

Thank you for the question. Yes, the 2300 face does rotate 180 degrees and will allow you to mount it upside down or hanging under the dash while having the numbers oriented in a standard position.

I have an 88 Suzuki Samurai that I am trying to get this to work on. All wires are going where the diagram I found for it says. The engine is an inline 4. Should the 2300/01/09 work?
