This would be directly compatible. We do not have any tachs that have an rpm limiter.

Thank you for your question. As long as you are able to obtain a tach signal, this will work for you. The tach signal should still be obtainable from the vehicle.

The 2302 will work with most electronic ignitions. Some coil pack or coil on plug ignitions may require an adapter. For details call our Tech Support Team at 866-248-6357.

Where is this tach made. Autometer instrumrnts are made in the USA, but Autogage says designed in the USA.

I have a 2302 tach and my instructions says I can't use this tach with solid core wires which I have so what tach do I need my distributor is points and solid core wire thanks Rich

Thank you for your inquiry. None of our tachometers will work with solid core plug wires. The RF noise produced by that type of wire is not compatible with electronic devices.
