I have a DigiDizzy digital distributor as described at: https://www.facebook.com/DigiDizzy/ The DigiDizzy digital distributor wiring harness has a tach output signal. Please advise if special calibration or adapter is required for my 2305 installation.

Can the 2305 tack be rotated so it can be mounted under the dash?

This tachometer cannot be rotated in its mount. Check the 2892 for full rotation. https://www.autometer.com/2-5-8-tach-8-000-rpm-mini-black.html

What is the accuracy of this tachometer? eg: 1% of full scale?

AutoGage, being entry level, will tend to have less accuracy than the high performance AutoMeter counterparts. This particular model also has a very compressed dial, which lacks precision. You should expect a tolerance of up to 5% on the 2305.

Thank you for your question. While none of our gauges are made for vehicle specific installations, our pedestal mounted tachs, such as this one, are very commonly mounted on the steering column. You can use a hole clamp, glue, or drill screws to hold the pedestal on the column.

I'm looking at the Autometer Model 2305 to replace a failed Autometer Tach. Does the tach come with the wiring or is it just the unit? I'm installing it on a classic car. Thanks, Mike

Hi Mike, thank you so much for contacting us. This tach does have flying leads off of the back of the gauge for wiring, but in most instances you'll end up needing to extend them to reach everything.
With that said, we are more than happy to check out your existing tach if there's an issue. There's never any charge for diagnostic work and if there's any repair charge, they are minimal. You can get all the info you need here:
