Stopped working after 2.5 years.
Gauges shouldn't stop working after a small a mount of time. I would take a picture of it stuck at 7 inHg but what's the point. I've owned many autometer gauges with no problems. I loves the simplicity of the gauge but quality is Job 1 autometer, and you failed on this one.

Installed hose for gauge using supplied tee into hose from carb to distributor. Idle speed went up 500 rpm. Is this normal or is the gauge leaking pressure?

Is the meter itself attached permanently to the bracket/housing plate it is on? Can the meter be removed from black plate it is on? Thank you, Richard

Hi Richard, great question. The gauge is simply a 2-1/16" diameter gauge held into a panel mount with a U-clamp. All the parts are included to remove the gauge from panel and mount into a 2-1/16" diameter hole.
