Autometer Blue LED Replacement Bulb T1-3/4 Wedge for Monster Tach

Product 3296 DESCRIPTION:
For all AutoMeter pedestal tachometers and some in-dash tachometers. Does not work with Digital & LED Lit gauges (i.e. Cobalt, C2, ES, GS, Elite, Factory Match, NV, Phantom II, Sport-Comp II, Ultra-Lite II). Replacement LED bulbs for Tachometers using the small twist-in light on the front control panel or "shield".

Thank you for your question. This will work on 5" tachometers in the Carbon Fiber series. Any smaller gauges would use Blue LED #3286

I'm using Sylvania 194LED bulbs in the interior and other Autometer gauges throughout my truck. Do you have an equivalent for my 5" tach that uses the #86 bulb?

Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, we do not have a white LED available for this application. You can certainly use a different company's LED bulb. It uses a T1-3/4 wedge bulb or #86 bulb.

I have a Sport Comp 3980 Auto Meter 5 " Monster tach and would like to replace bulb with Led bulb. What do you suggest ?

Hi Ron, thank you for the question. For several years now we have manufactured the 3980 with a "shield" at the 3 o'clock position like you can see here in the current pictures: https://www.autometer.com/5-tach-8-000-rpm-std-ign-monster.html
This shield features what appears to be a square button, which is actually a removable, replaceable light. If your 3980 features this type of design, the 3296 will work for you. Prior to that, we manufactured a version that had an internal long like bulb that was not accessible or replaceable. Unfortunately, if you have this earlier version there is no way to replace the bulb with an LED.
