Hello, i have the 4487-M speedometer fitted to my car, my question is after reading the calibration notes it says to drive a 2 mile distance. Now this being a KM/H speedo and im in Australia should i drive a distance of 3.21km to be calibrated correctly?

On a KM/H gauge you would actually do a 2 kilometer calibration drive.

I just received shipment of a Connect and Cruise LS376/525 and a Supermatic 4L70-E transmission. Is your speedometer PN 4487 M SP compatible with those pieces?

Our electric speedometers should work fine connected to the VSS on your 4L70-E.

Thank you for your questions. You can purchase our Sport Comp gauge as this could be what you're looking for. Part #3987-M. Additionally, the cup is plastic.

The gauge displayed on our website is how it will look when it comes to you. Our gauges will always have an odometer reading when it comes to vehicle applications.

Thank you for your inquiry. The light for this speedometer is located underneath the plastic plug at the 12:00 position on the back side. Remove the plug, then use a needle nose pliers to turn the light socket counter clockwise and remove it. The light looks like the one in the link above.

Thank you for your question. This gauge is wired the same way so you will have no issues swapping over the wiring from one gauge to the other. Please keep in mind you will have to recalibrate the speedometer to your vehicle since you are installing a new one.

Hi Coxy, thank you for reaching out to us. The 5289 is our GPS Sender that will work with the 4487-M. However, we also offer a true native GPS speedometer option in model 4480-M.

Thank you for contacting us. The bezels are not available or sold separately, mainly due to the fact that they're machine pressed and crimped onto the instrument. All Ultra-Lite models, like this 4487-M can be special ordered with a chrome bezel by selecting the chrome bezel option prior to ordering. If you already have this speedometer or a similar AutoMeter model, you can send it in to have a chrome bezel put on for a fee.
