Very Effective and Simple. I love it!
The perimeter lighting makes the gauge easy to read, without being blinding like modern backlit gauges from the factory. It also gives you the ability to color your bulbs a bit to get the gauges to light up in a way that works for you.
--The incandescent bulbs deliver clean light, and it's easy to get colored LED's if that's what you want.
-- The numbering is easy to read and incontrovertible.
-- The gauge face style is easy to see during the day and at night, without being complicated or "Busy"

Can I use the output terminal to feed a signal (pulse count or pwm) to my Holley termx ecu? I think the ecu will do it. What is the output on that terminal?

Hi Matt,
While this speedometer will work with most OEM and aftermarket speed sensors, we don't recommend real axle sensors We suggest using the 5289 GPS Interface:

Hi i have bought this guage second hand and installed it into my car. I have fitted the gps unit to it. I was hoping it was going to calibrate without going through the whole calibration process due to being the same brand but did not calibrate. HELP

Thank you for your question. The gauge and GPS module will come factory calibrated to work together, without needing any additional calibration. However, since you bought your speedometer second hand, it was likely calibrated for a specific vehicle and no longer had the factory calibration. You can follow these calibration instruction to get the speedometer to work with our GPS module: https://www.autometer.com/media/manual/2650-1570.pdf

No. Auto-Meter lets you pick what you want, since there are so many options.
---You can run the VSS pulses through the speedo.
I forgot to hook the speedo up to an oscilloscope to see how the signal counter works.
---In my case, I used the speed signal from my LS3 PCM, then ran the calibration procedure. Piece of cake. Best gauge I've ever owned.

Thank you for your question. We do not have a 5" pro-comp speedo with built in GPS capabilities, but if you use our GPS module #5289 with the Speedo #5189 it will function as a GPS speedometer with no need to hook it to your transmission.

Hi Lucas, thank you so much for contacting us. Unfortunately, we do not offer a mounting cup/pod for 5", in-dash speedos and tachs. 3-3/8" yes, 5" is only designed for in dash mounting. Sorry for the bad news.
