can this gauge be used on a ls1 engine with the sensor fitted to the head?

Thank you for your inquiry. The 5432 mechanical temp gauge is not recommended for installation into an LS block. There is no port in the block large enough to adapt properly. We advise use of any of our electric gauges and a 5284 LS install kit.
