Product 5970 DESCRIPTION:
Mirroring the functions of AutoMeter’s Street Wideband, the Digital Stepper Motor Wideband provides the most important functions necessary to make sure you’re extracting the most power possible, safely. An analog needle display integrates seamlessly with other gauges and easily illustrates rate of change as well as the actual value. Our advanced auto calibration system automatically calibrates your gauge on every startup to assure you of the highest degree of accuracy over the entire lifespan of your sensor (no free air calibration is ever necessary). Designed for gasoline applications, this wideband gauge provides the same degree of accuracy and response as the Pro version, but at a reduced cost. Data logging output is included for one wire or two wire systems. Our specially designed O2 sensor and wiring harness are included for ease of installation.

Thank you for your question. Unfortunately this gauge is not compatible with the 4.9 sensor. The gauges we offer with the 4.9 sensor are our "Pro Plus" gauges like part number 3397.

The pigtail on the supplied sensor is 10" long, but will I need a separate wiring run from the sensor pigtail to the meter? The instructional manual looks like there is another pigtail off the back of the gauge that goes to the sensor pigtail. Correct?

Thank you for your question. The harness is all in one, so it will plug into the back of the gauge and there will be another female end to accept the sensor plug.

Can this gauge be backlit with a traditional incandescent bulb and socket?

Thank you for your question. No, it cannot. This gauge uses LEDs which are embedded on the circuit board. It is not designed to support a traditional bulb.

What are the dimensions, specifically the mounting depth with harness connected?

Thank you for your question. The harness will not extend passed the end of the mounting studs. The depth to the end of the mounting studs is 2-1/2".
