Can you get a mechanical tempoerature gauge with a 12 ft capilary tube? I have a Polaris RZR with the engine in the back of teh vehicle.

will this fit into the temp sensor port without the adapter on a 1989 Camaro with the 305, I'm not sure what size/thread the port is.
