Thank you for your inquiry. The 6145 uses a digital stepper motor to move the pointer. This term describes the electronic meter movement that activates the pointer. It is a precision electronic movement with high accuracy, allowing a 270 degree sweep.

the light lit up for maybe a minute and now don't. the boost gauge is lit up and both working ok just no light on the pyro. can bulb be changed and how hard is it

Hello, thank you for reaching out to us. The white wire in the harness is what supplies 12V for the illumination. Make sure this wire is pinned into the harness properly. Since there are multiple LED's on a circuit board, any LED service or replacement would require the gauge be sent in for service.
