Thank you for your question. This tach can be used with any of our shift lights with the black "shift-lite" connector including the smaller ones like a 5330.

This tach is able to use a 1 pulse or 2 pulse setting. This will work for you.

I cant get this tach to work i can get it to light up and shift light but i can't set shift point or it to read or the needle to do anything

I have 3 wires red black and green ,,,, I'd imagine red is power black is ground green is tach ,,, what lights it up ?????

Thank you for your question. The matching Cobalt series gauges are Oil Pressure #6127, Water Temp #6137, and Transmission Temp #6149.

Well, I wish to know whether this instrument can be fitted on to a steam turbine. @ temperature not exceeding 48-50 *C ambient. in the turbine room. How is the speed sensing?

Hi there, thank you so much for the question. We can only make a recommendation for an automotive application. The 6299 Cobalt Tachometer will trigger off the negative side of the coil on older points and some newer electronic ignitions, and off the tach output on some aftermarket ignitions boxes like MSD.
