So few true ammeters vs battery charge/discharge gauges exist. I want to monitor entire current demand. Yours looks great too - ordering one. Question: is there a choice of bezel color? Chrome vs Black?

I have multiple accessories that I run off an auxiliary battery when my vehicle is off. Can this gauge be wired in a way to monitor overall power draw of these accessories?

As long as the cable coming off the battery to your devices passes through the inductive pickup, our gauge will display current draw.

I recently bought this ammeter, but it is too small to fit in the vent. Do you sell a cup that will hold it in the vent?

Hi,
We do have a cup for this gauge, see below. But it obviously has to be larger than the gauge in order for the gauge to fit into it. See attached:

I have recently replaced several batteries and alternators (failed without warning). I have just installed a new high output alternator and will be installing another new battery. Can this ammeter be used to monitor my car's overall charging system?

Hi,
Our 6390 Will monitor the output of your alternator, or any DC current up to 250 amps. You will simply route the alternator wire through the inductive probe included with this gauge.

Thank you for your inquiry. The inductive pickup will accept 1 gauge wire. It can accommodate wire up to 5/8" in diameter.

Too many old style heavy gauge wire ammeters. When the Cobalt inductive pickup is properly clamped over a wire in the circuit subject to + or - current flow, does the Cobalt amp gauge display the + or - in addition to the digital value? How displayed?
