I currently have this tachometer and it is wired to the tachometer terminal of my Redline weber ECU. Everything lights up and works but when the tachometer pass 2000 RPM the digits no longer ascend but descend. It is mounted in a four cylinder VW beetle.

Hi Rael, thank you so much for contacting us. It sounds to me like you may be experiencing a little bit of ignition noise which could be causing the tach circuit to get "confused". I would make sure you've got a rock solid ground for the tach (engine block or chassis is ideal). On occasion we do need to also use a tach filter when dealing with hot ignition systems on the older VWs.
