my speedometer lights up and nothing its supposed to go half way then back to zero when i turn the key nothing all grounds are good and getting power

I bought the dash overlay and gauges 7026-ul Everything is hooked up I double checked grounds everythings ok. but when I turn my key my speedometer doesent go half way and back down to zero and my and my little meter in the speedometer don,t light up help

Is one of these direct fit kits designed more for a replacement insert for an original Malibu sweep style dash or an original SS style

Thank you for your inquiry. These kits are based on two blank panels, the 2135 for SS models, and 2136 for non-SS. If you look at these two models on our website, you can scroll down and see the corresponding complete gauge/panel packages.
