1970 El Camino, 350/TH350. Is there an electronic method for adjusting the speedo to calibrate accurate speed readout or is it dependent on the speedo gear in the tail shaft? Since I have several AutoMeter P/C gauges, can I just buy the dash section?

Thank you for your question. If you are running a TH350 and have an electronic speedometer you do not need to modify the gear in the transmission. You simply need a speed sensor like our part number 5291 and to calibrate the speedo by doing a 2 mile calibration drive.
If you already have the gauges and just need the panel we do sell it separately. The part number for the panel by itself is 2136.

Hi Shark,
This 7026-UL replaces the original dash panel. The speedometer uses an included speed sensor that attaches to the cable outlet on the transmission tail shaft. Check out the instructions linked to the product description on our website for details on the installation of this dash.
