Will this Tachometer work with the PerTronix Flame Thrower Distributor with Ignitor II Module and coil (Dist. Part #: D100700)?

Is this tachometer compatible with diesel motors?

Thank you so much for contacting us. In order to use this tach with a diesel engine, you'll want to use our 9112 Diesel Tach Adapter which you can see here:
https://www.autometer.com/diesel-tach-adapter.html
This uses a pickup that straps to the outside of your alternator to create a tach signal. As a side note, if you've got a diesel engine spinning 10k rpm, we definitely need to see that! Hope this helps.
