Mirroring the functions of AutoMeter’s Street Wideband, the Digital Stepper Motor Wideband provides the most important functions necessary to make sure you’re extracting the most power possible, safely. An analog needle display integrates seamlessly with other gauges and easily illustrates rate of change as well as the actual value. Our advanced auto calibration system automatically calibrates your gauge on every startup to assure you of the highest degree of accuracy over the entire lifespan of your sensor (no free air calibration is ever necessary). Designed for gasoline applications, this wideband gauge provides the same degree of accuracy and response as the Pro version, but at a reduced cost. Data logging output is included for one wire or two wire systems. Our specially designed O2 sensor and wiring harness are included for ease of installation.

My gauge will stay in the cal mode if I start the engine before it goes thought the cal cycle. The other thing it does not all the time is it will lock on 14.7 and stay there until I turn off the engine.What can I do to fix these problems.

If I have long tube headers with factory O2 bungs and sensors already installed, do I have to add the additional one for the gauge? Could I swap one of them out and use for the gauge?

Hi Bender, thank you for the question. Our Wideband gauge does require the sender we include, but you can certainly use an existing port for our O2 sensor. However, our sensors would not be recommended to replace any factory functionality that may be required for the sensors you have in there now.

i have one of these installed in my car and it always reads between 8-10, even after i have been driving for more than 30 minutes. Is there any kind of calibration or set up that i have to do to it?

It's possible, from your description, that you're experiencing lock-up, caused by excessive RF/electrical noise. One simple troubleshooting step you can try to rule out lock-up during start-up, is to remove the plug/harness completely from the back of the gauge while the vehicle is running. Wait 30 seconds or so, then plug the harness back into the gauge. If everything seems to work normally, try changing your power source, ground the gauge to an engine ground, and also reroute the actual harness/cable from the gauge to the O2 sensor.
