Product 8079 DESCRIPTION:
Taking the core features from AutoMeter’s Pro Wideband, the Street Wideband provides the most important functions necessary to make sure you’re extracting the most power possible, safely. Our advanced auto calibration system automatically calibrates your gauge on every startup to assure you of the highest degree of accuracy over the entire lifespan of your sensor (no free air calibration is ever necessary). Designed for gasoline applications, this wideband gauge provides the same degree of accuracy and response as the Pro version, but at a reduced cost. Data logging output is included for one wire or two wire systems. Our specially designed O2 sensor and wiring harness are included for ease of installation.

In my Chrysler 300G, 413 with Cross Rams each carb feeds one head. I assume I would have to install 2 meters and 2 02 sensors. Each one would monitor the air /fuel ratio of each Carter AFB. The RS 02 monitors the LS carb and LS 02 monitors the RS carb.

You are correct. If you are wanting to monitor both sides of the engine you would need to run 2 gauges and o2 sensors.

I have a BBC 502, no balance tube between header L R sides. Is one O2 senior, going to to the job. Do I need to install a balance tube and weld the bung there ? hopefully reading exhaust from both at the same time.

You should be fine measuring Air/Fuel with this gauge without installing a balance tube.

This will work for that, but you do have to install and use the O2 sensor that we include with the kit.

Thank you for your question. This uses harness P/N: 5298 and the other gauge you are stating using P/N: 5232.

My 2004 Acura TSX is equipped with 1 upstream air/fuel sensor and 1 downstream O2 sensor. Why can't I purchase this gauge without the air/fuel sensor since my car already has one? I can just tap the OEM air/fuel sensor wire for a signal for the gauge.

If the gauge will likely have compatibility issues with another sensor, then we do not make it available without the sensor. Hi Topper, thank you for connecting with us. For power you'll want to tap into a 12-volt power source that will support a 3-amp current draw. The power draw on a wideband gauge is much greater due to the power required to heat the O2 sensor. During normal operation it will usually pull around 1 to 1.5 amps.
