You will need to use the sender included with the gauge. The gauge will not work with the OEM sender.

What is the difference between this oil pressure gauge #880821 ($143.99) and #880076 ($108.16) besides Racing printed under the Ford emblem and hardware #2242 & #2230 both shipped instead of just #2230. What does Auto Meter recommend and Why?

These two gauges are essentially the same except for artwork. The costs are different due to volume produced and differing license agreements with Ford.

Would thus kind of gauge work for a Ford 200ci inline 6 engine in a 1966 Mustang? Would any modification need to be done for it read accurately?

Thank you for your question. Our gauges are universal, so they are not specific to installing into one type of vehicle. The adapters that come with the gauges will allow you to adapt the sensor into the block allowing you to get the reading needed for the gauge it’s for.
