Thank you for your question. This gauge will only accept the input from a FiTech can system. For a standard tach that works off of a pulse you would be looking at something like our 3697.

This gauge is for use only with a Fitech aftermarket ECM. It will not work on your Chevy.

I am looking for a 6 volt tachometer for my 1931 Model A Ford. Will this gauge work? Fitech Gauge, 3 3/8" ICAN Tachometer.

I'm sorry, we offer nothing for a 6 volt system. All of our tachometers require 12V to operate.
