What is the diference, between the different PID's, obd-II and PCM

Thank you for your question. The exact differences will vary for each individual application but your PCM will have more available than your OBD-II port. All your factory sensors will send a signal to your PCM, your vehicle manufacturer then decides which of those parameters they want to make available via your OBD-II port. Your PCM sends the readings for those parameters to your OBD-II port. So anything available via OBD-II is also available at the PCM, but not everything at the PCM is available via OBD-II.
