Product DL1010U DESCRIPTION:
AutoMeter’s remarkable DashControl™ utilizes your vehicle’s factory display(s) to provide performance information without modification. Available for certain vehicles with a Driver Information Center (DIC), DashControl™ plugs into the OBDII port and “hijacks” these displays, allowing you to monitor parameters from the vehicle’s data bus. Customize the display pages to display what you want, where you want it. Because there is no modification to any of the vehicle’s computer systems, it’s 100% warranty friendly and reversible simply by unplugging the device. It’s the easiest, most integrated solution for gauges yet, and takes only seconds to install.
DashControl™ offers customizable alerts as well. Water temp getting too hot or oil pressure dropping? DashControl™ can activate your factory warning chime and display an alert in the DIC at any value you set. Customization is incredibly easy using our intuitive configuration software. Better still, the system is expandable to add up to two additional analog inputs for parameters not monitored by your vehicle’s computer systems.

Thank you for your question. This will not work on a radio or other device. This will only modify the display on the Driver Information Center.

This device monitors both banks pre and both banks post catalytic converter O2 sensors.

Sorry, there are no DashControl models designed for a BMW. Our DashLink, which uses an OBD-II device and broadcasts parameters onto a mobile device app, would be compatible with your BWM.

I HAVE A DASHCONTROL OBDII DISPLAY CONTROLLER FOR A 2015 CAMARO. WHEN PLUGGED IN AND I HAVE THE HUD OPTION TURNED OFF, MY HUD WILL CHANGE TO A DIFFERENT PAGE, CAR MENU NOT DASH LOGIC MENU, BUT REVERTS BACK TO THE PAGE THE DASH LOGIC INFO WOULD SHOW.

Thank you for your question. Yes, the factory alarms will still work with DashControl plugged in. It does not take away any features or functions, it only adds additional functions and parameters.

Hi Merrell, thank you for the question. We're not aware of any incompatibilities with Windows 10. There is a link to download the DashControl software within the Description of the DashControl. It's a free download and we'd always recommend downloading it and giving it a try. There is limited functionality without DashControl connected, but you can at least make sure the program opens up.
