Product Information
The spark plugs on the 911 Turbo and Turbo S require replacement every 30,000 miles while the GT2 RS requires replacement every 12,000 miles. The ignition coils can last longer, but due to their proximity to the exhaust system they are prone to developing cracks and failing. When the ignition coils start to go bad it will turn the check engine light on for a cylinder misfire. This significantly reduces engine performance and driveability and in severe instances can lead to engine damage.
Since the ignition coils have to be removed to replace the spark plugs, and as preventative maintenance while you're in there, we have included them in this kit as a complete service solution to keep your Porsche performing in top shape.
