Suspension stabilizer bars are also known as Anti-sway bars. They intend to improve handling by reducing the car’s body roll from side to side. The stabilizer bar bushing is a physical insulator at the point of attachment to the car’s frame. Most bushings are made of rubber, but some people prefer bushings made of stiffer Urethane believing the car will handle even better (although the ride is stiffer).

• Unusual noises: Clunking, squeaking, or groaning noises, especially when driving over bumps or turning
• Body roll: The vehicle leans more than it should when turning
• Steering problems: The car pulls to one side, or the steering wheel feels loose or unresponsive
