Product Information

740mm regulating lambda probe, before catalytic converter

This oxygen sensor is tasked with monitoring the exhaust coming out of the engine. Information from this sensor is used to adjust fuel trim for optimal performance. When oxygen sensors age they can become less accurate in metering the emissions in the exhaust which reduces performance and fuel economy. In extreme cases a failed oxygen sensor will throw a check engine light informing you that it needs to be replaced.

This sensor features an OE style connector for easy plug and play replacement.

Oxygen Sensor

Your vehicle's oxygen sensor works with your engine control unit to optimize your engine's performance. The oxygen sensor is measure the proportion of oxygen in the exhaust sends input back to the engine control unit so it can modify the vehicle's air fuel ratio based off of it's current conditions. In doing so your Oxygen Sensor is a major part of your vehicle engine management and fuel consumption.

Oxygen Sensor Failure Symptoms
  • Reduced fuel mileage
  • Failed emissions testing
  • A check engine light
  • Poor drive-ability

About Bosch

Bosch is one of the worlds leading suppliers of engine electronics and sensors. Their sensors and modules can be found in almost every modern car on the planet.

Robert Bosch founded the “Workshop for Precision Mechanics and Electrical Engineering” in Stuttgart, Germany in 1886. Since the beginning Bosch has been a leader in innovation and development. They introduced fuel injection into mass production in 1967 laying the foundation for modern ignition electronics. Bosch brought lambda sensors to market in 1976, paving the way for cleaner exhaust gases and better fuel economy.

With millions of parts and products in their product line, Bosch offers everything from brake pads to household tools and medical supplies.
