Restore your BMW S54 engine to its former glory
BMW's stopped using timing belts a long time ago. For the most part, timing chains and their related components are lifetime to the engine and don't need replacing. BMW says that the valve train system does not need any servicing. However, in the real world where parts break and wear out we have seen many BMW timing chains stretch, guide rails fail, and tensioners loosen up. This is especially an issue on high performance, high revving engines such as the S54.
If you are rebuilding your S54 or are simply needing to do a timing chain refresh this kit is perfect. Here at FCP, we have taken the liberty of assembling this kit with all the parts you are going to need to do the job, and do it correctly. We include all hardware, gaskets, and components you will need in order to successfully restore your S54 engine back to original mechanical condition.
