Ford unfortunately left traces of the Mustang’s powerful 2.3L Ecoboost engine’s ability to take on a transverse setup, evidenced by the unused mounting holes left directly in front of the engine when you pop the hood. To fix this, we present the Mustang EcoBoost Transverse Mount Cover!

This simple and clean billet aluminum cover piece secures and covers this “unused” mounting point. Anodized black and laser engraved for a subtle yet clean look to show off your attention to detail the next time you pop your Ecoboost Mustang hood. Install is quick and simple, with the aluminum piece secured to the engine using a single bolt and O-ring.

While adding power and reliability is our primary concern, we want our builds to look good. Working on the first Mustang EcoBoost to hit 9’s, we knew that we had to cover up these holes. Taking photos of the car every day just made this flaw stand out even more.
