Complete High Tensile (12.9) Headbolt Upgrade Set for 1.6 / 2.0 TDI Common Rail Diesel Engines
These Headbolts are an upgrade to the standard 10.9 Grade Headbolts found on the 1.6 & 2.0 TDI Common Rail Engines.
We would recommend installing these headbolts alongside turbo upgrades to prevent headlift on high boost applications.
The standard 10.9 grade headbolts are rated to around 136,000 PSI, whereas the 12.9 bolts are rated to 160,000 PSI.
