Rear Wiper Delete W/ Silicone - VW/Audi (Many Models, Check Fitment)

Whether you're looking to shave a few pounds on your track monster, or looking to clean up the rear end for that perfect clout shot at the local shows, this wiper delete is just what you need! 

Fret not about failing gaskets, this kit includes the sealant to give you good peace of mind and ensure you don't have any pesky water leaks which can occur with other style wiper deletes. 

Installation

• Tools Needed:
• 10mm Socket
• 13mm Socket
• T20 Torx Bit/Driver
  
  
• Time: 15 minutes
  

1. Remove the wiper arm cap and the 13mm nut for the wiper arm.
   
   
2. Open your hatch and gently but firmly pull off the trim panels around the window and on the hatch. (Depending on your model, you may need the T20 to remove a few screws on the lower portion of the hatch to remove the main panel.)
   
   
3. You will need to unplug the wiper motor, and remove the 10mm nuts that hold the motor in place.
   
   
4. Once removed, you can wiggle the motor loose and it should easily come out. Take care if yours is stuck not to pry against the glass to get it out as you risk damaging your rear window.
   
   
5. Grab your Velt Sport Rear Wiper Delete Plug and apply the sealant to the outer portion of the front of the plug and (with the bevel at the top) firmly place it in the opening for the wiper.
   
   
6. Apply firm pressure to ensure it is seated and wipe up any excess sealant. That's it!
   
   
7. Now reinstall your panels (and screws if necessary) and enjoy that sleek clean look!
