OVERVIEW
Hooker BlackHeart Clamshell Engine Mounts are now available for GM LS and Gen 5 LT engines. These professional quality housings are a two piece, bolt together design featuring heavy-duty 11 gauge steel construction with O.E specs and a durable powder coated finish.
Features:
- Clamshell uses Hooker BlackHeart LS/LT 4th Gen F-Body style Poly Inserts to place engine crank centerline and transmission mounting plane in the same position as a stock LS engine
- Works with all Holley LS swap kits that utilize 4th Gen F-Body mounts, allowing installation of a Gen 5 LT engine into a Holley LS swapped vehicle while maintaining the same transmission position and crossmember (Will require new headers)
- Heavy duty 11 gauge steel construction with reinforcement ribs for strength and durability
- Two piece bolt together design (eliminates the rivet drilling required when using OE mounts)
- Durable powder coated finish
- For use with Hooker BlackHeart LS/LT Polyurethane Inserts – P/N’s 71221016HKR (Black) or 71221017HKR (Red)
- Sold individually (Consisting of one upper and one lower plate; Two required per vehicle)
- Hardware kit included
